Dr. Maja Milas is the Head of the Analytics and Informatization Department at the Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (SQAA) and serves as a Project Coordinator at the Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA).

With a background in law and a PhD, her academic and professional work focuses on quality assurance in higher education, particularly the development and implementation of quality assurance frameworks. Her research explores issues of institutional independence, autonomy, and governance, as well as the role of quality assurance in fostering transparency, accountability, and continuous enhancement within higher education systems.
